In order to keep supporting our small scale fishers, we commit to buying whatever they catch which is the most sustainable and seasonal way to eat fish and seafood from our waters. This means that we cant tell you in advance exactly what the species will be, but can guarantee that it will be delicious! Typical examples include: pollack, lemon sole, plaice, mackerel, sea bass, flounder, trout, monkfish etc.
The species will change during different seasons, here is what to expect: cod(rarely), cuttlefish, dab, flounder, grey mullet, gurnard, haddock, hake, herring, horse mackerel, mackerel, huss, john dory, lemon sole, plaice, pollack, pouting, ray wing, whiting & wrasse.
The fish will come filleted and deboned as much as possible, it also includes fish that is unsuitable for filleting (e.g huss etc) which will be prepared on the bone and easy to eat once cooked.
All items are fresh, happy in the fridge for 3 days and suitable for freezing (ideally freeze on day of delivery) See our delivery dates at the end of the description.
Included in your box:
2 x portions (total 300g) of filleted fish, marinated with fresh, organic (where possible) ingredients according to the weekly recipe. Shares will be fully assembled, packed in parchment and oven-ready, with clear cooking instructions.
